WE ARE NOT ALONE

I heard a faint cry; it sounded familiar...it was a sweet, distant sound that evoked memories of tea parties, happiness, safety and security. IT WAS HER! WHERE WAS SHE? Could it be....Miss Moussie? Mozes? Gustave? Mr. C.? Yes, Willy, it's them! But where are they?

We had just crossed the great wall. On the other side of the breathless stairway to NOWHERE, there was a different feel in the atmosphere: HOPE. My friends are with me on this path, trying to look for our destination; we are not alone, Willy and I. We will soon meet up with each other. We will all survive together.

A Thousand Miles

And there before us..in the mist of an strange and unknown landscape..a bridge...a road ..a staircase...
I felt lost...thinking about my dear friends at home...they must be so worried not knowing were to find me...there is no choise....I have to keep on going...

And the journey of a thousand miles began with a single step..a step from a very courageous little creature on his way to Nowhere...

Thank You Magic Key

I clutched on to this key with all my might for I think I understand now... as I squeezed it, I opened my eyes and there was my beloved Willy, sitting up against the white nothing of Nowhere. I grabbed him and no longer did I see that hairy beast before me, but I saw hope. Willy and I walked through a thicket until we approached the great castle in the distance.

The trail was moist beneath our feet. This was a good time to take a tea break as Willy and I were accustomed to do, but we had no time to waste. Something deep inside of me urged me to press on and forget for a moment, the comforts of our lives.

On the way, I learned a great lesson: idleness and carelessness can get you in big trouble on this path, especially in this land of large hairy beasts...

This poor chap didn't make it; Willy and I ambled our way around this mess and pressed on. Fear sat heavy in our hearts, but as I plucked out a long, strong blade of grass, I used it to string the key through and I hung it around my neck. There it lay, swinging and beating against my breast, tapped against the violent beating of my heart, calming its rhythm. Calm triumphed over me--I had to be strong for the both of us. Where was this key taking us?

The Key

Do not be afraid....then a gentle voice said.....enter this door and watch your head...this is the key to a place in your mind...where wishes come true and everyone's kind....I'm surprised you didn't see it sooner, because it alway's was there...but you just had to find it...the link to Nowhere..

The Journey Had Begun

If this leads to Nowhere, Nowhere is beautiful! I rubbed my eyes, thinking that I was still dreaming but I was no where near my soft little bed; Willy however, was still by my side and together, we stood before this grand castle, De Haar, I believe....am I in the land of the dear Dutchess and the Divine Miss Moussie? We must quickly follow the road before us before dark falls upon us.....

Suddenly, there was no nightfall, but white nothingness all around me...Willy was missing; I called out to my old mate and heard nothing until before my eyes, loomed over me a large thing of which I have never seen the likes! It sniffed like a rat sniffs, it sized me up and down and cocked it's voluminous head and sat staring--eye ball to eyeball.

Where I am? Nowhere is Somewhere

It was a fitful sleep, but nonetheless, calming in a strange sort of way...

I heard gentle, familiar voices and the sound of silence.

I was NOWHERE and yet I was somewhere, just Willy and me, sleeping on a cloud.

This was the beginning of a wonderful journey..would you like to go with us..together we will travel the road to Nowhere....
