The wind came along as Gretta and Tea were chatting about wee little things. Tea was expressing how wee little things sometimes turn out to be big things. Gretta was listening with earnest concentration when the wind almost blew her over!
Gretta lost her balance as Tea reached to catch her before she rolled south. Again, the wind returned and Gretta went tumbling! Tea jumped out of his boots and ran down the hill after her as the wind kept tumbling Gretta! Good grief, who would ever think I'd be chasing after a tumble weed in October! Gretta finally landed in a bed of clover as the wind sent a tiny picture flying through the air. Tea reached up and caught it! It was picture of a wee little hedgehog! Gretta rolled over and in pure delight shouted...Look Tea Rat! My sister had her baby! Perfect timing, Halloween week, please meet Wee Little Treat!
Tea couldn't help but smile at the new birth. Perhaps one day Wee Little Treat would tag along to Nowhere.

Eventually it came down to the fact she needed to seek wise council. Buddy Bonkers stopped in to help her decide.
In the nicest way possible, Buddy Bonkers encouraged Gretta to just loose another pound and she'd be able to fit in the pumpkin! However, he also planted a thought in her noggin! What in the world would a skinny hedgehog look like? So, the decision was made. She would take this one home. In one week, if she could not fit into it...she would just buy a bigger pumpkin!
Everyone is invited to the pumpkin party.. I hope all my friends can come.. Let’s see.. I sent out invitations to Mozes, check, Miss Moussie, check, Tea Rat, check, Rattus, check, Gretta, check, Raccoon , check check… Open your trunk and find a costume. We can make a pumpkin pie and dance till the sun goes down!
