Raccoon takes on the "It"

Raccoon's pizza box flew through the air and almost hit Rattus on the noggin'. He was on the run, up the tree with his black and white ringed tail ready for battle...claws were out...little black beads of eyes peered through the glen...what is it? I think "It" is human. Mozes seemed to think so but the "It" did not say a peep as she yawned...Mozes didn't seem to be bothered at all by the "It" and Gretta was as curious as can be. She felt so proud SHE rescued the "It"...Mozes let her take all the credit as he always did. Big hearted bear that he is...

There is way to much PEEPING going on here...I am very suspicious NOW! Peeps peep. So yes Dearest Dutchess, to answer your question, IT IS A PEEP!!!

Tea Rat: Rattus, we need your learned opinion. What is that thing that Mozes found and made the sound of a peep? For some say it might not be animal at all, but that it might be something called "human."

Rattus: The only other sentient species I have ever heard of is called homo sapiens sapiens, or modern human, for short. But I have never seen one and I think they are a myth used to frighten naughty children.

Tea Rat: "Human!" Here? In Nowhwere? I've heard when they move in, everything else is moved out. I hear they kill for sport. I hear they have a building fetish. They don't know when to stop. Oh dear, there goes our beautiful Nowhere.

Rattus: I wouldn't worry about it, old rat. As I said, I'm fairly certain that humans don't exist. Humans were created by ancient Nowherians to explain what is now known by plain common sense. As one of our greatest scholars have said: "If an ignorance of Nowhere led to the creation of humans, then an understanding of Nowhere will lead to their destruction.

Tea Rat: If it's not human, then what is it?

Rattus: You say it made the sound of a "peep"?

Tea Rat: Yes.

Rattus: Then it can't be human, for humans don't peep. They're SUPPOSED to be intelligent beings that speak language like we do, and that's impossible.

Tea Rat: Then what was it?

Rattus: Elementary my dear rat. A frog. Indeed, it was our dear friend Gustave.

Tea Rat: Gustave, of course. St. Rodentia be praised.

oh my, we are still here trying to decide what exactly "it" is....I say it yawns, hasn't spoke a word, or made a sound like a peep..perhaps it is just a wandering wee forest sprite who is tired, and lost her way..does it have a smell?, you know all forest sprites smell like heaven, so I'm told..lets sniff it and see , Moses, I think you should do the sniffin'

WAIT! I think I need to investigate further. My colleague and esteemed friend Rattus has put a bug in my ear about this. I will pull out my Miss Moussie's Spy Kit that I purchased this Christmas as a gift to myself, and I will do some SPY WORK....onward into the forest.....TEA RAT
