Pippit Priceless Paints a Perfect Palette
This day we have in Nowhere is priceless! Why? Because everyday to Pippit Priceless is priceless! Pippit Priceless opened the old trunk at the end of her bed and said...this is the first day of spring and I intend to paint to my hearts content! Out came the paper, out came the paint jar, she stuck all her supplies in her basket, including 101 paint brushes. Out the door she went, first stop...those stepping stones needed a touch of color!
When she was down right satisfied and content she traveled one mile to Farmer Pat's field and painted the tulips hot pink and red. She wanted them to speak volumes this year!
Being a living doll requires you to live life in full living color. No matter how you get there, and how you create, it's all a perfect palette. A riot of colors is created in the most unique ways!

Two Slices or Three?
Pippit awoke with pie on her mind...she followed Paisley down the staircase and was very intrigued at the fact there were muddy bear prints on her kitchen floor and a little hankie by the front door. Paisley when asked, had no clue as to who had been to the cottage. Twas Saturday and nothing mattered in Nowhere except for the mission which was never impossible...it was pie baking day!!! Cinnamon for Bebe, and extra sugar for Rattus...Pippit dumped all the ingredients into the bowl...pumpkin pie aroma floated out of the windows of the cottage...right to Raccoon's nose...off to the cottage he goes!
Three apple pies just for Hazel and Tea Rat! They would savor them with their cups of tea! Mozes stuck his head in the window and reached for a slice of apple pie...
The pie fest was on...Nowhere never smelled so good with the exception of the time everyone feasted on blueberry pie! Gretta from Gothere was next to arrive with Rattus right by her side! Rattus came with a bouquet of balloons which was such a surprise because only once in awhile he showed his party side!

Cuz Clyde
Mozes was minding his own busy-ness riding over hills and dales on his bicycle machine when he looked ahead and who should he see but his Cuz Clyde. Clyde was on his way to to buy that handy cottage in Nowhere. It would be perfect for him for winter. He could warm his paws by the fire, there was a good stash of honey in the cupboards and that would last him the whole winter. Mozes broke the news to him that the cottage just sold! Cuz Clyde could not believe his ears..."WHAT? I DON'T BELIEVE IT! I was just going to put an hefty offer on it Mozes!" Tragedy for sure! Cuz Clyde tore through the bushes to the cottage and up the stairs he lumbered. "WHAT is THAT is MY NEW BED?"
Mozes road as fast as he could back to the cottage trying to catch up with Cuz Clyde. "Why Cuz Clyde...that is what you call a PIPPIT!" The Pippit was snoring to her hearts content, and all of a sudden Cuz Clyde began to cry. Mozes was shocked, for he had never seen a bear cry before in all his years in Nowhere! Mozes pulled a little hankie thing out of his pocket. He saved it for Bebe when she was in need...the hankie was the size of a sugar cube but perhaps it would help Cuz Clyde...to be continued...

Home Sweet Nowhere
Paisley and Pippit peeked around the corner of the cottage and Paisley started hopping up and down! The very thought of a pumpkin patch of her very own! This cottage was a dream come true and Pippit was beginning to feel bubbles all over she was so excited to buy the cottage. The very first thing she would do was have a cottage warming, with pumpkin pie for everyone! She would have to make at least 12 pies because Mozes would eat at least 3 pies and Rattus maybe 4.
The door gave a sweet creeeek...as it swung open! Straight ahead was the kitchen and off to the left there were stairs up to the bedroom. Paisley headed for the stairs right away...Pippit claimed this room as her very own.
Lunch was over due and back down the stairs they scampered. Pippit saw the recipe book laying open on the table. Flour and sugar and cinnamon sat on the counter and a huge bowl of fresh carrots from the garden for Paisley. Pippit put on the apron and went to work...right away. FOR SURE, she was buying this cottage and spending her life savings to do it!

For Sale in Nowhere!
What a wonderful day in Nowhere! Autumn had arrived in all her splendor and Pippit was thanking the moon and the stars that she finally got out of that big old Victorian doll house and all of her Nowhere friends had welcomed her with glee. It was all meant to be! Part of her (in a corner of her mind) loved the wooded forest of Nowhere and part of her yearned for a little house of her own to come and go from. Pippit followed the signs leading to the little cottage for sale...Paisley Bunny jumped into her arms and invited herself for the walk. The two talked and talked about what life would be like for a bunny and a living doll to buy a cottage in the woods!
Out of the blue, Mozes road by on his bike and waved greetings to both of them. He could be heard a mile down the road roaring....buy it Pippit, buy it! Pippit stepped over the little bridge, past the wood pile and waited for the big decision to be made. Paisley suggested they walk inside first...to be continued!

Beatnik and the Blueberry Wagon
Come one bug, come one bear, come one and all to the Garden Party in Nowhere! The feast was on and it all started when Mozes pulled up in his new Bear Mobile! Feast and fancy for all! Strange bugs and fancy beetles from deep in the forest of Nowhere. One in particular came marching in with hundreds of friendly ants pulling a wagon...he was known to come from the land of Ooowhere! Beatnik was his name and making a living was his game! Today, he offered up his finest mobile...
Anyone need a blueberry pie wagon for sale? Pippit Priceless could see the possibilities as she popped a handful of blueberries in her mouth! Blueberry smoothies, blueberry balls dipped in chocolate, blueberry pie...oh my! Now how is a living doll going to buy a blueberry wagon? Perhaps she can barter her goods in her doll trunk! She wondered if Mozes could pull it behind his Bear Mobile?

Finding a Boy Friend
After a deep and meaningful conversation with Tea Rat it was decided the Pippit Priceless needed to search for a "boy friend." Just a friend. Pippit argued back that Rattus and Rac and Mozes and Tea himself were good "boy friends" but Tea suggested to search further in Nowhere and beyond...So Pippit headed to Hollywood. The Fonz said YES! Sure thing baby doll!
She went to the Outback Woods to find a glowing gnome and he said YES! I'll be your Gnomeo!
She found a "boy friend" that would sweep her off her toes! He went so fast, her slippers flew off!
A living girl looks around every corner for fun and this Hollywood legend said...YES! But he burped too much!
Gumby said yes...he would be the best "boy friend" a living doll could have and he has one cool horse too!

Family Ties
Pippit Priceless took out her journal and sat under the mushroom. For once in her life, she was feeling somewhat funny. It was a funny feeling but really not that funny. She felt shy. Pippit disliked feeling that way. She wanted to make friends with that Hazel girl but Hazel always looked the other way. Pippit began to write in red...Little does Hazel know, I have much in common with her. I'm a bit of a missy fit too. Yes, I'm a living doll but nobody ever understood me in the dollhouse. I was adopted and some days it was such a flop. They always called me Mari but I wanted to be called Pippy. Then I arrived in Nowhere and I was named Pippit. I added the last name Priceless because I don't wanna, no I don't wanna be no missy fit anymore!!!
Pippit reached in her mushroom pocket for her pictures of home. She had to admit, she felt a little homesick...but she also felt a little funny...not the right kind of funny where you laugh. This was a funny feeling creeping up...so she wrote in green in her journal...I'm not so sure that I like that old stuffy dollhouse I lived in...perhaps Hazel would understand.
She looked at the picture of her make shift aunt and uncle who always sneered and snickered at her red and white stockings. She remembered the day Uncle Perfect stepped on her toe and did not even blurt out an apology...this journal entry required the red pen...fire burned within...Hazel would understand.
But then there was Auntie Precious...she was full of sweetness. The kind you find here in Nowhere. Pippit wrote in full living color...You were always looking out for me, you were always on my side. You made me laugh and you always let me swing from the parlor chandelier...Auntie Precious was perfectly priceless to me. She gave me great courage to be who I am. Will Hazel understand?
Pippit closed her journal and took a deep sigh. She had made her decision, she would try not to scare Hazel and she would try to be good even when she was tempted to be loud. That seemed to scare Hazel. Pippit reached for her trunk and decided to put on some slippers and walk softly around Hazel for a little while to see if Hazel would notice her.

Hang Loose
Pippit Priceless was full of play...Friday was on it's way! It's time to hang loose! She found an old copy of Mr. Webster's famous dictionary. Those humans live by it. She turned the pages, snapping her fingers and she found it...the word "LOOSE" which Mr. Webster describes it's definition: Not confined or restrained, free, not firmly fastened (Pippit adjusted her cap), not tight or compacted or precise. (Pippit pulled up her socks) To set FREE, unbind, make less tight, to relax and release, on the loose FREE!
That's me! Free to be me, free to be you...in the merry land of Nowhere...we are FREE!
