Tea Rat and Rattus stumble and rumble into the Pumpkin FĂȘte like two large gourds rolling down a steep hill at high speed. Tea Rat sees the Divine Miss M. and just has to speak to her, but in light of past disastrous attempts to win her heart, he finally has a stroke of genius.....
"A little transformation potion shouldn't alter the taste of this party punch...maybe just a dash to change me into a dashing mouse that will win her heart tonight!"
Ooops.....this party has turned into a human affair! But doesn't the Divine Miss M. look smashing in green?

Rattus: Tea Rat, what was in that potion? You've changed everyone who drank it into heaven knows what. Even the landscape has changed. Wait a minute, that's imposs...Look here was that potion a psychotropic compound like Atwitsend's Gas?
Tea Rat: Cheese and crackers, my dear fellow, calm yourself. The effects are only temporary. But are they not glorious?
Rattus: Hrrmph! Just you be careful. Your attempts to transform the heart of Miss Moussie should NOT come at the transformation of the world.
Tea Rat: My dear, dear rat, to be in love is to find the world transformed.
Rattus: You're hopeless. NO MORE DRUGS!
Oh No Tea Rat, not a potion. Haven't you learned a thing? He should know better than that. His mischievousness always gets him into trouble.
I have to admit nobody will recognize him, I mean he has his mask on and even wore his orange shoes. I just know he can disappear amongst all in the crowd.
Oh how beautiful Divine Miss M and her friends look. You have truly captured BEAUTY in their faces and clothing sweet Anita. How beautiful you are with the pen and pencils, not to mention your watercolors. You have a beautiful God given talent, you and DH. I can just imagine the shares that the two of you have on little notes and such. Do you draw on each others lunch sacks? You are both so precious.
Thank you for the beautiful share today. I hope the house construction is under way and you will have a beautiful addition soon, before the weather changes.
Many hugs and much love, Sherry
How lovely the divine miss M and her friends look, and the dapper Tea Rat will most assuredly be follwing close behind..but will he be detected? and how long will the potion last? such a fun story, wonderful illustrations Anita! Have a wonderful weekend, xoxoxo Christel
Wowwwwwwwwww!!! Oh my dear TEA RAT! Will you just look at YOURSELF! How could the divine Miss Moussie not be smitten with you in your orange getup...Love the mask!
How STUNNING Miss Moussie is in her exquisite green dress. Her friends are following as the best dressed of the season... May I have some of that potion please? Beautiful work my dear Anita!!!!
Ah, what would this life be without a touch of magic here and there! Will brew some of that potion tomorrow and post about the results! Miss moussie's a star, and this is so sweetly done Anita and Ruben - so enchanting to see, what you mixed up here! Let's walz into the weekend in style, dashing mouses that we are ;) xx, M.
Well, for once, Jacqueline and Gretta are speechless...
A cats got both of their tongues.
Teeeeheeee....Gretta dearest, I see you got transformed to up top on the bridge, looking up at the stars...but it will wear off. Tea Rat has his Th.D in TEAOLOGY, not in science! The compounds he mixed are harmless, and by now, everyone is back to snuff as they should be for Nowhere! Gotta watch that Rat...he is dynamite!
Ah Anita, how could Tea Rat NOT be stricken with love for Miss M? She is pure lovliness!!! Maybe just maybe this determined mouse might yet gain her affection one day... In Nowhere, anything is possible! love, Rose
this is enchanting!
O,my goodness...look at me...I'm beautiful...this reminded me of a song from the wizard of Oz..
I want to be seen green
Wouldn't be caught dead, red
'Cause if you are seen green
It means you got mean bread
You've got to be seen green
To show that you're stuff's layed
If you're not seen green
You better be wearing jade
etc etc...
This is so sweet dear Tea..would you come up and see me sometime...in your marvelous boots!
There is a hill in Nowhere called the Blorenge...where a gallant Tea Rat wears Orange..
There is no perfect rime to orange..:))?
Wonderful drawings Nita
Oh a Pumpkin Party... what fun!! I have a pumpkin teapot if you need to borrow it. You could serve some pumpkin spice tea... the party could last until evening and some steeped hot tea might be just what your guests need. Miss M. looks so divine in her green gown and I can see why Tea Rat is so in awe of her... will he approach her and maybe even speak to her?? I'm anticipating that he WILL!! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!
Love to you sweet friend,
Lady Sherry (I'd like to be known with the title "Lady" somewhere so why not in Nowhere??)
Dear lady Sherry, please bring the teapot ..one can never have to many teapots in Nowhere..:)
