BEBE!!!!!!!! I just got home from work.....er....
TEA RAT HERE! That woman who draws me just got home from what she calls "work." What in hell's bells is that?
RATTUS: Oh yes, I've heard of that thing...it's something that peeps do over on the other side of Nowhere - let us NEVER cross that border old man. Let's help Bebe with the decorations!
TEA RAT: I second that motion! I shall take out the ladder from the shed out back and give her a lending paw.
RATTUS: Let's!!!!!
(PENNY!!!!!!! Your drawing, this is the SEASON! She is sweet and thank you for doing this! I got so busy this weekend I didn't get a chance to post anything, but thank you!)
And to you dear friend Penny, Ruben and I speak often of our adventures here in Nowhere with you and the others, and some of our fondest memories are of US all laughing and bantering on the weekends. TO ANOTHER YEAR of love and friendship!!!
RATTUS: Oh, what a lovely portrait your mum did of you Bebe. Tea Rat and I are on our way to the Christmas Tree party.
TEA RAT: Righto! I've got the ropes and ladders and safety netting, and pitons, crampons, and croutons.
RATTUS: Take it easy there son, we're not climbing K2. We're just helping Bebe decorate her tree.
TEA RAT: Will there be cheese and crackers?
RATTUS: Sure.
TEA RAT: And tea, and cakes and pies, and puddings.
RATTUS: Sure, and with you there we'll have all the nuts we'll need.
Well Heavens to Betsy, I am actually here on time! As a wee small mouse meself, I will give you a "foot up" so's you can reach the tree top with the topper, Yours truly, Dimity
TEA RAT: I say old man, it looks like our list is ready. Puddings? CHECK! Butter cakes? DOUBLE CHECK! Nuts? We couldn't have a party with out YOU. Do make yourself at home...I see you are indulging yourself with Bebe's gingerbread cookies and Dimity's sugar cookies and my DOUBLE chocolate biscuits!
RATTUS: You never mind. Start popping the popcorn so we can get started on stringing it to decorate the tree! And Dimity is here! Oh, we are going to have such a fun time....fa la la la la.....hop to it, Tea Rat! Get that box of ornaments and hand them to me; I need to climb the ladder and reach to the top and...
TEA RAT: Folks, there was quite a bit of sugar in the double chocolate biscuits....teeee
(I love the pretty red of the Christmas tree skirt here, Penny!!)
Oh my goodness! Thank you for coming to help with the tree, dear friends.. Did Tea Rat eat all the goodies yet? I think I'll have some of those double chocolate biscuits, but must leave room for one of Dimity's sugar cookies..
Ok... Enough food, time to decorate.. Dimity... I will take a foot up now... Ready, set!
Love,
Bebe
(You like the red tree skirt?
Thank you Anita!)
TEA RAT: Oh goody, goody, goody. Dimity is here, and Bebe, and the whole gang. Let's eat.
RATTUS: Do you ever think of anything else other than eating.
TEA RAT: No.
RATTUS: OK.
Rattus, hide the food quick. I think Tea Rat is ready to explode!
And what ever you do, don't tell him I brought gouda cheese.. shhhhhh
Bebe
RATTUS: No worries, Bebe. I won't tell Tea Rat that you brought cheese.
TEA RAT: What was that?
RATTUS: I say, I think we're in for a nice breeze.
Good save Rattus!

Dearest Bebe,
There's nothing I like better than a party, and a tree decorating party is the BEST!!!!! Well, um, okay, yes, perhaps performing on stage is #1 for me.... with a party after of course!!!
Did someone mention CHEESE?!?!?!
~ Monique
{from Violets blog}
Dear Monique,
I am so happy you were able to join us here... Yes, there is plenty of CHEESE, well, that is if Tea Rat has not made off with it.
You know how he love his cheese!
Let us all raise our glasses to Dear Dutchess, for creating a magical place for us to dream, play and create... Thank you dear friend for all the years of laughter and joy.
Love,
Bebe and Penny
I SECOND THAT TOAST, Miss Penny and Bebe!
And I see Monique the mouse came all the way to help us out. We welcome any mice, rats and bears, rabbits and goats...the prerequisite is that you BELIEVE in the impossible and have the courage to create it. Bebe, thank you for such a pretty tree to decorate together, dearest Dutchess, thank you for being the brain child of this fabulous blog, and to my husband Ruben for always making us laugh and making Tea Rat RETORT as he knows best.
LOVE YOU ALL!
Dear Nowhere friends, wishing you all a blessed Holiday Season, filled with love, laughter, faith, and of course, Cheese! Wonderful illustration Penny! Much love, Christel, & Hazel
