I JUST WANTED TO BE A FLOWER CHILD

Dear Mozes and friends...I decided to send this letter to all of you because I decided to stay for the fashion show. I met a band of fairy girls and they decorated me with flowers of all kinds. I smelled like a rose...and a petunia...and a lilac all at once...They all waved good-bye to me and I was content...(all though I miss you all something awful...) I've always wanted to be a flower child...
I took a wee little nap...tired and content...I thought I heard one of those fairy girls return, and before you could blink...BRACE YOURSELVES for this upcoming news...Close your eyes...It's hard to bare...
My hair went somewhere...Something came along and took a bite of my rump! I'm going to the hospital for mending...the fairy girls returned. I might need stitchin' or some vodka or some such thing for the pain...pass the bandaides please and a tissue...please send sympathy...signed...Gretta from Gothere!

OH DEAR, Gretta my sweet, what happened? WHO DID THIS? We will all be there, with bandages and all and some vodka, but to apply topically ONLY in order to kill the pain. We will bring you plenty of flowers for your spines and hold your hand. We love you.

I will draw you pictures of your restored self when I can. In the meantime, take care. Blessings.

Dear Gretta,
Two things strike me about your letter.

One: the picture of yourself as a flower child is the limit. It had me in stitches.

Two: I never want to meet up with whatever can take a bite from a hedgehog's rump, spines and all. That must be one scary customer.
