When Art Imitates Life in Nowhere

Please click to enlarge the fuzzy photos!

There they stood proudly, in the North East center of town. A wonderful artist from the desert region of Nowhere was commissioned by the town council to fashion a statue of Bebe the Poot-Poot pilot in honor of her generous contributions to transport food and supplies to needy creatures residing in the distant environs of Nowhere.

One of the town council members, who shall remain nameless at the moment

felt that it was of the utmost importance to have his own likeness immortalized as well, in order to state to visitors and residents alike that NOWHERE is the place to come to get the best:

1. BLUEBERRY PIE
2. PG TIPS TEA
3. FUN AND LAUGHTER
4. ENDLESS IMAGINATIONS

With paw on hip and nose in the air, Tea Rat raises his tea cup and says, "CHEERS TO PENNY THE ARTIST FOR THIS MONUMENTAL ACHIEVEMENT!"

"BRAVO!"

Tea Rat: Aren't these sculpted works of art of myself and Bebe by Penny of Angelsdoor beautiful?

Rattus: They are, indeed.

Tea Rat: She caught my profile and pose to, shall we say, a Tea...He...He...He.

Rattus: That she did. That she did. Bebe too. Let's not forget her.

Tea Rat: Yes, yes. But how about me and all the tea-time accouterments. And then of course there's me.

Rattus: (Sigh), yes and then there's you. You're lovely. Every house should have a shrine with your graven image. NOW WILL YOU STOP?

Tea Rat: A shrine? Graven image? Every house? Hmmm.

Rattus: Oh, Cheese and crackers!

Tea Rat has been immortalized! Brava, dear Penny! Now, if you would stop ruminating TR, maybe we could get down to the business of some tea and biskies or maybe blueberry pie.
