TEA RAT: Ohhhh...we are back on earth and THANKS to URSUS MAJOR, we had a soft landing; it could have been much harder of a fall, but thank you MOZES MI MAN for your soft and cushy SELF and for catching little Bebe and me!

NOW...RATTUS IS UP TO SOMETHING, as we can see my mate in his regalia and book...HOLD ON TIGHT, for that RRRRRAT IS DYNAMITE!!!!

Rattus: I have examined those tracks using the very latest forensic methods. Then I conferred with the most authoritative texts in the field. But still I was stumped.

Finally, I went to a Buddhist monk, a Catholic priest, a Protestant pastor, and a Rabbi, and asked them: "What do these tracks mean?"

The Buddhist said: It means that all roads lead to God, my son.

The Catholic said: It means that the church is the only road to God, my son.

The Protestant said: It means that Christ is the road to God my son.

The Rabbi said: Well, if you believe the other three, it means that God is bear.

TEA RAT: I thought that enormous "bear" in the sky that helped break our fall from Saturn had a divine aura to Him....hmmmmmmmmmm....thank you REB RATTUS!

Rattus: Well, I thought I would just break the ice with a little humor. Actually I have a theory about those tracks. Want to hear it?

Tea Rat: Sure. I'm dying to know.

Rattus: Those are bear tracks.

Tea Rat: For this you made me wait on pins and needles?

Rattus: Oh, you wanted to know more than that?

Tea Rat: Duh?

Rattus: Well, as I said those tracks are bear tracks. But they could only have been made by Mozes the Bear, as I have seen his foot prints many times.

Tea Rat: Mozes?

Rattus: Yes, but not only that. He was not alone. He was carrying Miss Mousie on his back, because Mozes left delicate (instead of rough) footprints, which means that Miss Mousie was riding on his back, and Mozes wanted to be sure that she was comfortable on the journey.

Tea Rat: Amazing.

Rattus: Thank you. But there's one or two more things I've deduced from the tracks. First, the journey of Big Bear and Little Mouse was beset by bad weather. This is clear from the wind-blown trees and the rain-soaked ground. And finally, they arrived safe and sound, and very much glad to be at home.

Tea Rat: Now wait a minute. I can see how you deduced the other explanations. But how can you possibly know that they were very glad to be home?

Rattus: Because Miss Mousie emailed Anita and told her.

Tea Rat: There you go breaching the fourth wall and talking to the audience again.

Tea Rat: Hey, who is that playing that song?

Rattus: Canned Heat, my dear rat. Canned Heat. Jolly good those American rock bands. The song is titled "On the Road Again." It was released in April of 1968 and made it all the way to number 8 on the UK pop charts. Among the song's most notable features is the hypnotic droning sound and the fact that song writer Alan Wilson had to re-tune his harmonica up a half step.

Tea Rat: How can you possibly know all that?

Rattus: There's this fascinating little procedure called reading...

Tea Rat: Never mind.
