I thought I would bring a few friends..

A Christmas Goose you say, Bebe?

Come on Tink... We are almost there...

Oh my! Now this is rather a silly looking goose, don't you think?

I would like to give you a Christmas kiss, Ms.Gander

Kiss, kiss!!!

awwww.. Thank you.  Love your hat!

Everyone should arrive soon..
Love is in the air.
Kisses,
Bebe

TEA RAT: Shhhhh...don't tell Rattus that I'm here or else he will disapprove of my befriending this MAGNIFICENT GOOSE!!!!!!! Shall we have some tea Ms. Gander? You are dressed ever so properly for HIGH TEA and Earl Grey. Bebe dearest, you have arrived in your magic egg, I see! Poached, coddled or soft-boiled? Either way, you have reached high enough to get a smooch from this incredible GOOSE! AND....I see that Jasper is with us! OHHHH THIS IS FUN!

(Penny, you, YOU......I LOVE THIS GOOSE!) I will be back!

So good to see you here! Bebe has missed Nowhere, and thought it time to play . So happy you enjoyed Ms. Gander. Her hat and shawl is Christmas wired ribbon. teee Made Jasper a long time ago...

Well that Jasper is super. HEY! Make him a little blue crown like the paper one you made the "real" Jasper! (Don't let this Jasper hear me say that! teehehehe)

Oh Penny, I just showed Ruben your photos here; he is in the middle of making dinner, but just LOVED THIS! Hopefully, he can come back tomorrow to play. In the meantime, TEA RAT HERE.....

TR: Splendid company. Ms. Gander, you make a wonderful tea host!

TEA RAT: You see Rattus, you see this goose? Don't you think she'd make a great cook for us at Witzend?

RATTUS: Now what's wrong with MY cooking? How about that kidney pie I made last night - you have to admit I got it bang on.....

TEA RAT: No old man....you did NOT get that spot on. I hate to tell you this, but your crust was soggy and your sponge was dry. WE NEED A NEW COOK!

RATTUS: YOU just want to add another animal to our already over-capacity collection of animals!

TEA RAT: Well then, I confess. That goose is dynamite and I WANT HER!

Rattus Scribus said...

Tea Rat: I think that Ms. Gander is a delightful goose.

Rattus: No.

Tea Rat: No, what? She delightful is not? How can you say so? Be not unkind.

Rattus: Speaking in iambic pentameter will not help you. You cannot bring yet another animal to stay at Witzend.

Tea Rat: Now did say I anything about that?

Rattus: Stop it Obi Wan. This is a cottage, not Noah's Ark.

Tea Rat: But tis the spirit of thanksgiving, of acts of loving-kindness within and wi....

Rattus: Hey, King James. No.

Tea Rat: But Ms. Gander can bake pies and tarts, and makes the best buttery scones in all the land.

Rattus: So do Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry, but I don't want them living with us.

Tea Rat: True, but are either of them a goose?

Rattus: I'm going to be sick.

Tea Rat: Ms. Gander has a recipe for that.

Rattus: Oh? Suddenly I'm all better.

Tea Rat: Then can she stay?

Rattus: Arrrh!

Tea Rat: Is that a yes?

Happy Thanksgiving
