Renovations

Night is lifting

and so are the memories

of

The Castle of Butter's past.

Tea Rat has taken it upon

HIMSELF

to look into his tool chest

and bring Butter Castle

back to its former state.

He built a new chimney

and applied the stone and brick

on his own

while Rattus repaired

the chandeliers.

(Thank you Penny and Jeri for your suggestions!)

So very enchanting Anita, love the embellishments to turn the castle into a magical journey into our imaginations.
I hope you have a inspiring January and beautiful wishes to you.
Sending love,
Vera.

Tea Rat! Mum thinks your renovations are spot on! Great job on the chimney.
Be careful as you stick your head down in that tool chest. You never know what you will find in there.
Wondering if you are in need of a Chef for the Butter Castle. As you remember I did attend Le Cordon Bleu!
Love,
Bebe

BEBE!!!!!!!!!! Yes little girl, you can be our in-house chef! A Cordon Bleu graduate is exactly what we need to bring this castle up to scratch. And you are right about my tool box; I found tools I'd forgotten about along with some little critters that I was not expecting! And Rattus did an excellent job on the chandeliers!

I am commissioning that woman who draws me (teehee) to paint a tiny painting to hang over the mantel inside....bet you didn't know there is a little mantle inside the castle! More later!

HELLO MISS VERA!

Hey, how exciting! Bringing new life back into the old Butter Castle! I can remember exploring there a few years back, and it really does need some spiffing up! I can bring a few friends, and some brooms, and mops, and we will have those old floors looking like new in no time! Do you think Bebe might whip us up some tasty treats? Rattus did do a fine job of fixing that old chandelier, and TeaRat my friend, you always have the best ideas! This could actually be fun! xoxoox Hazel

"cough cough, wheeze, sneeze, cough" wow it sure is dusty in here Tea Rat, we had to pull the drapes so we could "cough, sneeze," see what we were cleaning. I think maybe we need to clean these old drapes too, Bebe can't be cooking while she's sneezing! ~ Hazel

Renovation is always a journey that transform both the home - be it in paper - and the person renovating! Anita did an awesome poetic job with this castle!

You are so gifted, my friend. Such a magical castle. I wish I could lose myself in such a place right now. It's good to stop by and say hello here. I've always liked this place as you well know. Visited with Penny and read that you had a new post up here so I rushed right over.
Let's keep dreaming, dear heart.

Those egg carton stones worked out so well! Who could have thought such simple objects could create a castle.

It's so hard to get any of your sites, friend Castle Lady... and I can never find your comment section ... anyway ... Love from your slightly frustrated cat.
