Did You Say Pumpkin Party?

One day I found two pumpkin seeds.
I planted one and pulled the weeds.
It sprouted roots and a big, long vine.
A pumpkin grew; I called it mine.
The pumpkin was quite round and fat.
(I really am quite proud of that.)
But there is something I'll admit
That has me worried just a bit.
I ate the other seed, you see.
Now will it grow inside of me?

Dear Ruben, I have been meaning to get over here and visit, for quite some time now. I'm so glad I finally did. The illustration is great, and I loved this poem. Maybe that's my problem with my ever growing mid range! haha I have been a fan of sweet Anitas Castles and Crowns blog for quite sometime, as well as reading Nowhere when I get the chance. Hope to enjoy more of your wonderful writing. your new fan, Christel

Gretta....is Rattus going to blow up big like a pumpkin and grow vines out of his ears? Do they have a pill to cure what may become his greatest ailment of all time?

Jackie....never fear, Gretta dear...that Rat will ask Anita to take a baseball bat to him before he becomes a fat pumpkin!

Gretta....shall we send a baseball bat to Anita in a care package?

Jackie....Gretta, you think of everything. You are always willing to lend a helpful paw.

Dear TEA RAT
Save the pumpkin seeds! Don't eat them. We will roast them! I know Miss Moussie would love to nibble on them, ok?
